All Saints,

‘Drawing the community together...’

All Saints Church  is located in the heart of Tolkien  country, a rural parish of Roos in Holderness, in the East  Riding of Yorkshire. It is situated approximately 3 miles  north-west of the town of Withernsea, and less than a mile from the coast, the church is also very close to the  Greenwich Meridian. All Saints Church enjoys beautiful views over the  Holderness coastline and its long sandy beach. The church of All Saints was constructed in the 13th and 14th  centuries, primarily of cobbles with stone dressings; a  tower was added in the 15th century.  Tunstall has a  thriving village community and an active congregation  who all pull together to keep All Saints Church a beacon  to Christian faith in the local area. All Saints Church is the  focus for the bi-annual event called Horseman Sunday,  which attracts many horse riders from around the county,  as well as a yearly Strawberries and Cream Day. The  Church boasts a magnificent organ which was donated by  Holy Trinity Church in Hull and now occupies the North  side of the Nave.
